Alice Gilbert's oil painting is her passion as it brings joy and fulfillment to her life. 

She feels fortunate to live in the southwest which provides colorful outdoor scenes and nature.   She paints animals, western scenes, flowers, cacti and anything else that inspires her.   She started painting about five years ago and now views the world differently, looking at colors, the way light shapes things and this beautiful world we live in.   She is an impressionist.   Things seem to emerge when she paints and she loves to make them come alive on canvas.   She is always exploring new ideas and growing as an artist.   Stay tuned for updates to the site as new art is added frequently.
